Shortly after I became vegan, I started noticing that a LOT of vegans practice yoga.

At first I didn’t understand why, but now it makes complete sense!

You see, when you become vegan, you start seeing how everything is interconnected. Life and nature, as we know it, are interconnected. So, as individuals start realizing this life-transforming wisdom, they start to practice yoga, which is a practice that incorporates physical postures and movements that allow us to connect with ourselves and the world around us.

If you’d like to see the video on my IGTV channel of me explaining why I started practicing yoga, then click here.

The video explains how I started practicing yoga for the physical benefits. After 10 years of being a wrestler and an acrobat, I thought it’d be a fun practice to add to my belt.

Little did I know, I was entering the beginning of my yogic journey. The yogic journey can be described as a journey toward learning about yourself. After all, we’re one of the MANY microcosms to the macrocosm, so as we start to understand ourselves, we start to understand more about the ENTIRE universe.

Did you know that our bodies are made up of the materials of collapsing stars? We’re literally made of star dust.. Isn’t that fascinating???

Anyways, I quickly realized that I had entered a practice that had very little to do with acrobatics. Yoga does incorporate acrobatics, but that’s only one small part of this orchestrated practice.

Fast forward 2 years and I’m falling more and more in love with my yoga practice. It has helped me learn about myself and my emotions. It has allowed me to step into a flow state of being. It has granted me with the ability to experience true Zen (a Japanese sect of Mahayana Buddhism that aims at enlightenment by direct intuition through meditation). And so much more..

I’ve been doing my best to help others discover the wonderful powers of this practice. I’ve been making yoga informational videos (like the one above) and it fills me with life! Through making inspiring content, I inspire myself. This has been one of the main reasons I’ve decided to start saving money so I can pursue my Yoga Instructors Certification. This coming winter of 2018, I’ll be getting my 200 hour Yoga Teachers Training. I CAN’T WAIT!

Until then I’ll keep making content about the knowledge and wisdom that I’ve picked up along the way. Just like the video to the left, which is a video that shares all of the tools I use to enhance my yoga/meditation experiences. You can click it to go and watch the video on my IGTV channel!

So, if you’re interested in yoga, don’t hesitate to reach out to me. A lot of people are intimidated from yoga because they think they have to be flexible and athletic to start practicing, but that’s not the case at all.

Look at yoga as a form of meditation that incorporate body postures and movements. These body postures and movements can be as simple as sitting/standing, or as hard as one-handed handstands (a form of power yoga).

This is a practice that can revolutionize your entire existence!! So, if you’re hesitant, please reach out to me and subscribe to this website with the form below and I’ll get back to you ASAP! By doing so, you’ll be updated on all of my newest yoga content.

With that said, I wish you nothing but good fortune on your yoga journey 🙂
